Vans Natural Foods Lunches

So about a million years ago.....okay many months but I can't recall how many and it feels like forever.....I received a package from Van's Natural Foods full of scrumptious noms to try out. I'm finally getting around to blogging about it as I've just remembered I was supposed to. Oops. *shameface*

Here are some of the goodies we got to try out. Just looking at them again makes me feel hungry. So yum!

Kidlet has Vans French Toast Sticks, syrup, strawberries, and milk in a ball jar with a Cuppow lid.

Kidlet gave the French Toast Sticks a HUGE thumbs up! He loved them and the box was gone in no time. Having a teen is like having a human vaccuum that is never satiated.

In our Lunchbots Trio Kidlet had a Vans Chocolate Chip bar, pickles, strawberries, and grapes.

The Chocolate Chip Bar gets a rousing round of applause from both of us! We were fighting over them they were so good!

I used the Pancakes as a sandwich with delicious Nutella spread in the middle and a heart cut out. Along side in our Planetbox Shuttle are strawberries and blackberries.

Four thumbs up on the pancakes! We both loved how fluffy and tasty they were!

Pride Festival Lunches

Last month Kidlet and I met a bunch of our friends for the Pride Parade and Festival featuring George Takei as the Grand Marshal of the parade! That made our little geek hearts so happy! We were there all day so of course we needed some easy and tasty lunches to take along!

I packed easy lunches in our Easylunchboxes! The Main Compartment holds two sandwiches, one turkey and one ham. The Larger Side Compartment holds two colors of grapes and the Smaller Side Compartment holds pasta salad. Nothing fancy just something quick to nosh on in between all the fun!

So many pretty ELB colors stacked up together! I just love seeing them like this!

Lunch in the park with a fun flag we got during the parade! Yum!

So Long Grade 7!

7th grade is finally through and both Kidlet and I are thrilled. It was a rough year for both of us and we are excited to start fresh and enjoy our summer!

This year I chose Supernatural for his final lunch as we are working through all of the episodes together right now. Last year we said goodbye with a Doctor Who Bento and the year before we left behind 5th grade with a Hitchhiker's Guide Lunch.

In our Planetbox Rover Kidlet has a peanut butter sandwich with natural fruit leather letters, pretzels, salad, grapes, strawberries, and a little cookie.

Two Peas In a Pod!

This past week I participated in a challenge called 3 Tools, 4 lunches held by Wendy of Wendolonia. The idea was to give 4 bloggers the same 3 tools to use in their lunches and to see what they could come up with! It was a lot of fun to try to think up new ideas!

Main Compartment: Two peanut butter roll up sandwiches and pistacios
Large Side Compartment: Grapes and Cherries
Small Side Compartment: Orange slices

Meatless Monday: Week 40

Welcome to Meatless Monday! Please link up your meat-free posts below and share in the veggie goodness!

Today I made Kidlet a snack bento with a purple ribbon sandwich. The purple ribbon is for Fibromyalgia Awareness Day which is today! I live with Fibromyalgia which is a disease of chronic wide spread pain that is difficult to treat. This leaves a lot of people unable to function on days when the flares of pain are bad. It's a very real thing and it's very painful and difficult to live with sometimes. I don't know what I would do without my Kidlet to help me, he is always happy to lend a hand which is the only way we can do life some days. So, be aware! Fibromyalgia is very real!
