It's my Birthday! Oh yeah! I'm now a whopping 27 years old. I think that it's possible that my exhaustion this week has been caused by my inching closer to the 30 mark. Yikes. In celebration of my elderly status *according to Kidlet lol* I have a giveaway and review! Woo!
I recently had the opportunity to try out some Rachael Ray Cookware courtesy of CSN stores. I was really excited about this because I have been harboring a secret desire to own Rachael Ray products for a long time. Shhh. :)
I tried out the
Bubble & Brown 2 -Piece Stoneware Baker Set and I must say that it's even better than I thought it would be! The thing that really drew me in is the handles! I am a tornado of disaster in the kitchen and have broken many an innocent casserole dish. Having two super sturdy handles is perfect for me!
I made four different dishes this week using the stoneware set! I started out with Kidlet's request of Pasta Bake. It cooked perfectly and one of the great things about this cookware is that it can go from oven to table looking nice! No need to switch to a serving dish! Additionally I made cornbread, roast pork, and stuffed french toast. They all cooked beautifully in these dishes.
Now, the packaging said that these can go in the freezer, fridge, oven, and are machine washable. I can attest to the fridge, oven, and machine washable part! They cleaned up very nicely! I personally would never put them in the freezer. For one thing, with the handles they would take up a lot of space that I just don't have. They also lack a lid meaning they would need to be covered with plastic wrap or something like that and I prefer to avoid using those kinds of products. The handles are my favorite part but they are also the only downside if you prefer a dish that comes with a lid. No lid here!
Overall I was super impressed with these dishes and will be using them for many years to come I am sure! Do you want to know the best part of all of this? YOU can WIN one of these sets! And you can choose the color you like! WOOOHOO! :) The set comes in Blue *which I chose*, Green, Yellow, and Chocolate.
