Spring Chickie

Almost Spring Break! I am drowning in packing for our trip right now :) That and preparing some cupcakes for Kidlet' school event tomorrow. More on that in the morning!

Kidlet has a chickie of cheese and food colors on top of an egg shapes pb&j sandwich. On the side are green beans, mandarin oranges, grapes, and an apple chick

  2. Looks really cute! How do you get the black line so thin? Is it nori or food colouring? Looks really good!

  5. How adorable!! It looks a bit hard to take his eggshell off since he grew too big haha.
I love the chick shaped apple and egg shaped sandwich as well.

  7. Bento Box: I use food coloring marker for the black line. I don't have a marker that is black so I dip a worn out yellow one in some black food coloring to get the same effect :)

I could never do that with nori! Nori and I do not play well together lol

  9. How did you make that little duck out of an apple? I am intrigued! Your blog has inspired me to start my own bento blog for the lunches I make for my daughter! Thank you!
