Muffin Tin Monday - July 4th Style

Okay, so I know I said this same thing LAST week, but this week I really do have some awesome posts in the works! Woo! To be fair, last week turned in to an Asthma-related disaster with Kidlet who couldn't breathe and a middle of the night ER visit. Yuck. Luckily he is feeling much better now!

Today's Muffin Tin was for our 4th of July cookout. We celebrated today since Kidlet was a sickieface yesterday and I was exhausted after spending the night in the ER.

Top L-R - Corn, Morningstar Farms Soy Riblet, potato salad
Bottom L-R mini Pickles, blackberries and strawberries with coolwhip, grapes and a checkered apple

Check out other nommy Monday tins at Muffin Tin Monday

Along with our barbeque today we had parfaits of angel food cake, berries, and cool whip. Yum!

Amusingly enough this is the only use these glasses ever get since no one in my house drinks alcohol.

Kidlet and his friends had a fun time with sparklers!

  3. Eek! How scary for Kidlet! I'm glad he's feeling better!

I have tall fluted wine glasses that I only use for making personal size trifles, because my boyfriend and I don't drink. Alcohol glasses are so pretty, it's a shame to waste them just on alcohol. ;-)

  5. Love the checkered apple! And I'm a huge bento fan so I'm excited to have found your blog!

My son has also been having a lot of trouble with asthma lately. It can get exhausting for both of us. Glad your son is feeling better.

  7. I am impressed with your apple! My husband and kids like those Morningstar riblets. I don't like alcohol, but I do drink my juice out of goblets because it somehow makes me feel fancy. :)
