Red Gold Review and Giveaway

Red Gold tomatoes are a staple in our house! Did you know that they are a 70 year old family owned company? I love that! Right now they are running a huge sweepstakes on their Facebook page but there are only 2 days left to enter so hurry!!!

I was lucky enough to get some delicious Red Gold in the mail to try out some summer grilling recipes. Unfortunately we discovered that my grilling skills are somewhat lacking and my burger recipe had to take on a new life. I tried making burgers with the Chili Ready Diced Tomatoes but mine refused to shape in to patties despite my draining the tomatoes properly. So, instead of burgers we ended up with sloppy joes!

Chili Sloppy Joes with Red Gold:

1 lb ground beef
1 can Red Gold Chili Ready Diced Tomatoes
1 can black beans
1 can condensed Tomato soup
1 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
1 TBSP Chili powder

1.) Brown ground beef and drain.

2.) Over medium heat add all ingredients to the ground beef and cook until simmering.

3.) Spoon on a bun and enjoy! Yum!

BentoUsa Giveaway!

This giveaway is really exciting for me because the amazing JeeJee of BentoUsa helped me pick out some great goodies that I love and I know you will too!

This adorable little panda bento is the perfect snack box or lunch box for a smaller appetite! I used the CuteZCute to make a kitty sandwich sitting on top of goldfish. On the side are apple balls, checkered apple, grapes, and a cherry.

This snack is homemade tortilla chips made using the CuteZCute! The side container has black beans, avocado, and salsa for a delicious snack!

For a tasty breakfast I filled the bottom tier with Danish Pancakes and the smaller tier with greek yogurt and a little teddy bear frozen yogurt.

Want to win a cute box of your own and some awesome accessories? Good, then you are in the right place!!

ThrifTeeGear: Lunch bags for Teens Giveaway

ThrifTee Gear is an awesome concept. If you've never encountered them before, they make upcycled lunchbags from your very own t-shirt! They make some from tees they find as well but to me, nothing beats making an eco-friendly lunchbag out of your own beloved tee.

ThrifTee Gear now makes two different lunchbag options so you can choose! The new addition is a backpack style which is a great lunchbag for older kids!

Kidlet chose a cute Marvel Chibi Avengers tee for his bag and it's amazing! He loves it so much and I love it too. Can't wait until he outgrows it so I can snag it ;)

Now, I think it's high time for a giveaway don't you? The amazing Tracie of ThrifTee Gear is giving away a Custom ThrifTee Gear Eco-Cool  Lunchbag, retail value up to $29.95.

Lunchbox Love Giveaway!

Once you've picked the perfect box, filled it with delicious healthy foods, and put it in a bag you may still find that something is missing. When I was little my mom would write love notes to us on our paper napkins and at 30 that memory still sticks with me. A simple note can convey so much to a child.

Now, in the age of everything re-useable paper napkins are becoming a thing of the past. So what are you supposed to write on now? Well, when I first discovered Lunchbox Love I was thrilled! They have love notes for anyone you could ever want to show love to! Kids, Teens and Tweens, Loved Ones, Co-Workers,'s amazing! And although they are made from paper we have re-used ours many times.

Want some notes of your own to start the school year off right? The generously awesome people at Lunchbox Love have agreed to give away some notes to one of YOU! Wooo! So enter to win because well, it only takes a second and free stuff is cool!
